February 10, 2010. Just a night after Darrel's birthday and the UP Asterisk exhibit I have just posted, Darrel and I went on another date: this time, an overnight one, and attended the UP Fair's Urbandub exclusive night. Yep, it was the only night that Urbandub performed. Good night, I tell you; and a load of cool pictures to top it off. We got a nice space near the stage so we did get a clear view of the performers. I wasn't able to take the pictures of all of the bands though. There were a LOT, and there were also a hell lot of booths to check out so we weren't in the scene all the time.
Anyway, for starters here's Raymund Marasigan: Sandwich doing their signature song Sugod.
Imago came next with the ever beautiful Aya of course.
A newfound love was Duster.
Check out their Gucci Gang where they "dedicate" a song to them motherf*cking Gucci people (and I don't mean the designer or the clothes, Filipinos, you know what I mean) who don't care much about the world except partying all the time. Love.
And of course, how could I possibly forget the delicious Marc Abaya. I don't want to delve more into what I really felt during his performance, for I understand being the Kawaii girlish site owner that I am, my site attracts younger people, so let's just move on.
We were not able to regain our original space during Urbandub's performance so we weren't able to take clearer pictures of them. Check out the crowd behind us. Mind you, if I was only created a guy I might've joined them, who knows? Seeing Urbandub perform live can truly take you on different kind of high, which explains the riot.
Now going back, as I've told you there were a lot of other things to do and look at, at the fair grounds. There was a zip line, a booth for wall climbing, rides (like a ferries wheel, caterpillar, and forgot the other one, haha), and lots of food and shopping booths.
Of course there was also an idle time when everyone was just anxiously waiting for Urbandub to perform. Here's when I started to take light pictures like this one, and of course taking pictures of ourselves.

The UP Fair has always been a tradition for me, and maybe for everyone who is currently attending or has attended the university. I'm also sure that I would still go to the fair even after I graduate (hopefully) this October, as long as my age permits. Haha. Outsiders are also welcome to attend the UP Fair. I'm just sorry that I didn't post this on time then it would be fun if you were able to go and even meet me there. Till the next late post, cheerio!
